ICWAI National Award for Excellence in Cost Management-2007

The Jury for ICWAI National Award for Excellence in Cost Management-2007 headed by Justice J.S.Verma, former Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India has selected

Lakshmi Machine Works Limited the First Award - under the category of:

Private Sector-Manufacturing (Organisation) - Turnover more than Rs.1000 Crore.

This Award is given for Companies practicing Best Costing Practices in India. Many Top Companies participated for this Award at National Level and LMW bagged the First Prize under Private Sector Manufacturing & Turnover over 1000 crores Category. Last year LMW won the Second Prize under the same Category.

At a function held on 1st May 2008 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, The Union Minister for Corporate Affairs Shri. Prem Chand Gupta presented the Awards.

On Behalf of LMW, Mr C B Chandrasekar, GM-Finance and Mr Krishnaswamy, Senior Manager, New Delhi Liaison Office received the Award.
